Lois Quinn was one of the great pioneers of the Boulder duplicate bridge community. In addition to being a great player, Lois was virtually the co-manager of the Boulder Bridge Club, run by her partner Gary on Monday afternoons in various locations for many years. She and Gary also frequently hosted social games in their home and helped many of us improve our game. Beyond bridge, Lois was once a member of the CU ski team, graduated from DU with a degree in chemistry, camped and hiked all over the world, and was an amazing artist and gardener. Lois and Gary were particularly noted for their love of animals—creating habitats in their own backyard and welcoming a series of great rescue dogs in their home.
